This light, soothing snack provides a dense concentration of dietary fiber from organic basil seeds, which hydrate similarly to chia seeds to promote digestion and prolonged satiety. Fresh raspberries provide low-glycemic, anti-inflammatory vitamin C and plant antioxidants, keeping macronutrients and calories well within metabolic guidelines.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons organic basil seeds
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened additive-free almond milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon organic preservative-free vanilla bean powder
  • 1/4 cup organic fresh raspberries

Instructions

  1. In a small jar or glass container, combine the basil seeds, almond milk, and vanilla bean powder.
  2. Stir thoroughly for 1 minute to prevent clumping, then let stand for 10 to 15 minutes until thickened to a pudding consistency.
  3. Top with fresh raspberries and enjoy chilled.
