Refined Sugar-Free Lavender Syrup

Are you looking for a healthier sweetener than refined and highly processed white sugar? A sweetener that won't contribute to inflammation or blood sugar spikes? A sweetener that you and most importantly your gut and hormones will feel good about? Try out this recipe for a healthier and homemade sweetener that you can add to your morning coffee or matcha!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup 1 cup filtered water
  • 1 cup refined sugar-free sweetener of choice: raw and unfiltered honey, natural maple syrup, monk fruit, stevia, or coconut sugar.
  • 2 tbsp culinary/edible lavender buds

Instructions
 

  • Boil one cup of water on saucepan.
  • Add in sweetener of choice.
  • Let it simmer on low.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of culinary lavender buds to the sauce pan.
  • Remove from stove.
  • Let it steep for 15 minutes.
  • Strain mixture into separate bowl and into your syrup dispenser.
  • Enjoy your refined sugar-free sweetener with lattes or matcha!
